As Co-Founder of The Sage Team, Cameron Leigh Gainer leads the systems, technology, operations, and infrastructure that support the firm’s private-office model. Her role encompasses strategy and execution, ensuring that client assignments move efficiently across markets, team disciplines, and every stage of the advisory process.
Cameron brings a real estate practitioner’s perspective to the operational side of the business. She oversees the technology, CRM, workflow, research systems, transaction coordination, and internal processes that allow the team to work as one integrated unit rather than a collection of individual advisors.
I have always been drawn to the part of real estate that happens behind the scenes—the systems, information, organization, and details that ultimately determine how well a client is served. My role at The Sage Team is to make sure the operation works the way our clients expect it to.
That means building the infrastructure that allows us to manage complex assignments, coordinate across markets, organize intelligence, track opportunities, and keep every member of the team working from the same information. I am constantly looking at how we can use technology more intelligently, streamline a process, improve communication, or eliminate unnecessary friction for both our clients and our advisors. Because we operate more like a private office than a traditional real estate team, no assignment exists in isolation. A client may need research in one market, representation in another, private scouting somewhere else, and multiple specialists working behind the scenes. My responsibility is to help connect those moving parts and create a structure that keeps the work organized, responsive, and highly coordinated. I also believe technology should support relationships—not replace them.
The best systems are the ones our clients barely notice. They simply experience a team that remembers the details, anticipates what comes next, responds quickly, and makes an otherwise complicated process feel remarkably well managed.
That is the standard I work toward every day.
